What is Snacking? The definition of snacking is to eat a snack; this means to eat between meals, to nibble, to munch or to graze. Lets just face it kid’s of all ages love to snack. Some of us snack more than others. At times we do not make good healthy choices on what we snack on. I have decided to start testing out Healthy Snacks. I know, I know, I feel the same when I hear or see the word HEALTHY in the same sentence. I ask myself, do I really want to give this a try. Yes, yes I do, along with my eight-year-old assistant, Seth. We will pick a recipe to create. Seth and I will both give it a try then give our reviews of how are taste buds like it. I will then post the Recipe and our reviews along with a picture or video for your viewing. Let us know if you tried the recipe and give us your review. We would love to hear from you. ENJOY!

What kind of goals should one set for themselves? This might be different for each individual. A goal for one may be too difficult for another, however on the other hand it may be too easy. It should be a personal goal having meaning to you. I will put a weekly goal up on the blog, which I will take on. You are welcome to try the same goal for the week or set your own. I would love to hear if you tried the weekly goal I set and were you able to accomplish it. Or if you set your own, I would like to know what goal you set for yourself and were you able to accomplish it. Also tell me how you felt either way. This is what you call having an accountability partner. This is a person who coaches another person in terms of helping the other person keep a commitment. And this works both ways, as I will need your support as much as you may need mine. When setting a weekly goal having a chronic disease/illness is one way to motivate you in doing something even through a difficult week. I know there are times where I can do something one week and the next week no matter how hard I try I cannot do it. This is what one encounter’s when living with a chronic disease/illness.
25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life[a]?
28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow, is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Why do we worry so? What does it accomplish? How does it make one feel? (Video is full Devotional)
Worry, it consumes us with negative thoughts that leads to stress, anxiety. Which leads to health issues and much more. As individual’s we tend to worry about health, finances, jobs, family, the economy to name a few. Having a worried mind and heart makes us unproductive by drawing the energy right out of us as, this makes us weak and not rely on God’s promise. It drains our joy, happiness, hope and yes our faith. We, as humans, no matter how hard we try will go through this; however when we do it is wonderful to know God is walking beside us lifting us up and carrying each one of us without letting go. God want’s his children to have a worry free life. I, myself wonder how can this be possible? Then I remember anything is possible with God. There is no situation how big or how small that God cannot handle. God’s promise is he would never leave us or forsake us. In Matthew 6:25 it tells us not to worry about your life. As individuals the need to say I will not worry is not enough, you need to replace negative thoughts of worry with God’s words. God’s words are powerful and can change the whole dynamics of ones day. When an individual takes worry and remodel their thoughts to God’s promises and dwell on God’s words instead of dwell on worrying about circumstances you have no control over, you will see and feel a change within in you. When you believe with you heart and soul God is in control of your life and taking care of you. You will find joy in your heart once. Having faith is the true foundation of living a worry free life. No one has said it will be easy. It reminds me when one has not been eating healthy and then puts their mind, heart and soul into making a life changing decision by eating healthier and it becomes part of them, that is actually how it should be when it comes to refocusing our lives on God and not the worry’s of life and of this world. As Corrie Ten Boom has said, ” Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow, it empties today of its strength.” In Romans 8:31, What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
Lord, God my Father, I look to you for guidance and give me strength where I fall short. Lord, help me not to worry about the things I cannot control. Lord in obedience to scripture I cast all my worries, concern on you, as there is nothing to big for you Lord. That I continually look in you to guide my heart and keep fear away. Help me not to let my fears, emotions or feeling hinder your plans for me. I ask you Lord, to reveal your perfect will in this for me, in this situation as you know all. God I ask all this in your name Lord, AMEN. [divider][fbshare type=”button” width=”100″]
Good day here at MY Chronic Angels Inc. and Welcome or how we say in Texas “Howdy”. Part of inspiring and being a support for you is praying. Praying, whether you pray or have someone pray for you, is a big part of the healing process. Prayers are part of having faith that the impossible is possible. Yes, you will have those day’s when you could or have someone pray for you all day and you almost feel as if you or they are wasting the day away. I’m here to tell you; it is not a day wasted and the more individuals praying the better. Without realizing, you just naturally feel more calm and relaxed. By being more calm and relaxed your body is not stressing so that is what I call the healing process being IGNITED. When God ignites inside of you there is nothing he can’t do. To those who are non-believers or believe in other ways I do want you also to feel welcome and just take the words as encouragement and positive reinforcement that gives you strength. I truly believe God does not want to push himself on others that are not ready to have him in their lives. He has unconditional love for all. As for some, they are never ready for God. However, God brings individuals into someone’s life, not by accident, to give unconditional love to them no matter what they believe. God just would like to show his love to you and he is there waiting. This is where God gives his children free will. With this said, I would love to pray for each of you.
My prayer for you:
“Lord my heavenly Father use me as your tool today and everyday to reach out and know how to express to others with your words and not my words, to use this site to glorify you and to give each individual that visits, will take something out of their visit, they leave feeling more knowledgeable, inspired, gives them a smile or the warmth of a friend knowing they have a support team behind them and they are not alone and there are others out there just like them, on the hard days Lord they have somewhere to turn in the days of struggles, guide me to post the right tools and be the encourager. Thank you Daddy God for choosing me to come on this new journey with you; I do hope to make you proud. Thank you God for loving us all no matter our imperfections; I ask all this in your name AMEN..”

The other day I was going about my regular day living with chronic disease, it was just a typical day of what can I do today or not do today. To much to my surprise this day included having a meltdown with God; just letting him have it, throwing a real good fit; you know the kind that tired you out. Then God said, “Child calm down and relax”,Under my breath, “So that’s where my husband gets it.” I asked God, YOU DO SEE ALL and KNOW ALL?? God replied, “My child I will talk to you Tomorrow.”
Hope you saw the humor in this. Yes we all have those moments that some days are tougher than others. It is just taking those days to find something positive in the mist of it all to find laughter within yourself.

O LORD my God, I cried unto thee and thou hast healed me. (KJV: Psalms 30:2)
What do these words mean to you? Just think a moment on these words. To me they are beautiful words of hope that inspires me to hold on to God. Knowing, keeping my faith strong and visualizing I am HEALED is what keeps me going on those dark days. As I was saying in today’s affirmation fill the tongue with positive words and what better words to put in thy mouth than, O Lord my God, I cried unto thee and thou hast healed me. The first step is believing it is possible. The second step is to believe you deserve to be healed.

Divine Love floods my consciousness with health and every cell in my body is filled with light. (The Wisdom of Florence Scovel Shinn).
Part of feeling healthy when you have a Chronic Disease/Illness is believing you are, even when you do not feel or look healthy. Inserting positive beneficial words on the tongue; as the old saying, words are powerful. Let positive words fill the tongue, this leaves no room for the negative ones. When saying the words above visualize your health by doing something you love that you may now have a struggle with. It is always good to repeat the affirmation minimum of three times, however you can always repeat as many times you would like through out your day :).
